AI Processing

Calenshot uses Apple Intelligence (Foundation Models) for intelligent analysis. This technology runs entirely on your device:

On-Device Inference

Apple Intelligence is a ~3 billion parameter local large language model that runs on devices with A17 Pro chips or newer. All text understanding, date parsing, and event extraction happen on your iPhone without requiring an internet connection.

Data Processing Flow

When you take a photo, Vision Framework performs OCR locally
When you use voice input, Speech Framework transcribes locally
Recognition results are parsed by Foundation Models locally
After processing, original images and voice data are immediately deleted from memory

No Data Upload

We do not send any user data to our servers or any third-party servers. Apple Intelligence is designed to ensure AI inference happens entirely on-device without relying on cloud processing.

Calenshot is suitable for users of all ages. Since all data processing happens entirely on your device and we do not collect any personal information from any users, there is no special risk regarding children's privacy. Parents can feel confident allowing their children to use this application.
